PURPOSE:To prevent the substantial change in the properties of a blood preserving liquid even if the liquid is sterilized by heating by sterilizing the blood preserving liquid by heating in a substantially oxygen shut-off state. CONSTITUTION:Vessels 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d contg. the blood preserving liquid 10 are formed of plastic materials having plasticity, for example, polyvinyl chloride, etc., and are connected by tubes. These vessels are produced by superposing two sheets of the plastic material sheets and sealing the peripheral part. The blood preserving liquid 16 is sealed in the state in which the properties thereof are substantially not changed in spite of sterilization by heating. Namely, the liquid is sterilized by heating in the substantially oxygen shut-off state by substd. with an inert gas, etc., from the inside of the blood preserving liquid which contains ascorbic acid-2-sodium phosphate salt, glucose, etc., and is adjusted to <=pH8.0. |
