PURPOSE:To improve heat transport capacity, by a method wherein a space part, formed between the inner wall surface of a closed pipe and a wick and a slit part communicating with a steam passage are formed in a wick approximately throughout an overall length in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:In a space part 14 of a vaporizing part, working fluid is heated to produce air bubbles, and the air bubbles flow pass through the meshes and a slit part 13 of a wick 12 escape into a steam passage 15 while a grain size is small. The air bubbles staying in the wick 12 are united with each other for growth, but the air bubble flowing to the slit part 13 escape into the steam passage 15 after flowing through the slit because the opening area of the slit part 13 is wide. In any way, since air bubbles generated occasioned by heating of working fluid are discharged to the steam passage 15, the inner wall surface of a closed pipe 10 is prevented from being covered with the air bubbles, and thus, excellent heat transfer between the working fluid and the closed pipe 10 is performed. |
