Receiving apparatus, in particular for infrared light, which is protected against interference by interconnecting a receiving diode or IR receiving diode which is operated in the reverse direction, with a bandpass response, with an inductor (3) in a resonant circuit. The inductor (3) is tuned to the internal capacitance (2) of the receiving diode (1) in such a way that it is resonant at a frequency which is desired as the operating carrier frequency outside the noise frequency.
