PURPOSE:To improve the extent of probe strength as promoting a reduction in the number of work processes and the shortening of manufacturing time as well as to prevent any dislocation in the U-shaped turnup part of a probe from occurring. CONSTITUTION:A locating pin 100 being set up in the inner part of a U-shaped turn-up part 61 of an insulated wire 60 is inserted into a probe member 50 at the time of mold formation. Consequently, the locating pin 100 is left behind in the inner part of this U-shaped turnup part 61 and thereby a pin draw-out hole is not formed in this position, so that an improvement in the extent of probe strength is well promoted, while positional regulation over the U-shaped turnup part 61 is expedited by the locating pin 100, thus any possible dislocation is preventable. In addition, since the pin draw-out hole is not formed there, insertional work of a filler member into the hole and adhesive applying work for sticking the filler member become unnecessary, so the number of work processes is reducible. Moreover, manufacturing time is shortened, needless to say, the waiting time for hardening of the adhesive. |
