<p>PURPOSE:To provide a heart rate detecting device which can surely detect the heart rate of a driver with high precision. CONSTITUTION:Infrared ray type heart beat sensors 11 and 12 each of which has a light projection part which is installed on a steering wheel and projects infrared rays and a light receiving part for receiving the infrared ray and detects the heart rate of a driver from the pulsation of blood are provided. Further, an electric potential type heart beat sensor 16 is provided which is installed on the steering wheel 33 and is equipped with at least two electrodes and detects the heart rate of the driver from the electric potential difference due to the pulsation between both hands, and also a heart beat data processing means 18 is provided which compares the time sequence data quantity NDI of the heart rate detected by the infrared type heart beat sensors 11 and 12 and the time sequence data NDE of the heart rate detected by an electric potential type heart beat sensor 16, and adopts a larger value as an effective heart rate.</p> |
