Collapsible (fold-in) light screen for a monitor, whose screen can be moved from a collapsed (folded) position into an unfolded (folded-out) active position in which the screen sections project beyond the plane of the monitor and essentially perpendicular thereto. According to the invention, the screen 20 comprises readily foldable side walls. As a result, the front 4 and rear side 8 of the screen 20 can be moved apart and towards one another as the side walls are folded in and out, respectively. Expansion links 9 connect front and rear sides to one another and serve as a support and position fixing means. <IMAGE>
