PURPOSE:To erase an image formed onto a heat-reversible recording medium having a heat-sensitive layer, transparency of which reversibly changes by heat, on a support uniformly in a short heating time at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:Both sides of a recording medium M are provided with erasing heating means 1, 2, and the recording medium is heated so that different phase or periods are obtained on the support side and heat-sensitive layer side of the recording medium M. A hot plate, a heating roller, a hot air type heater, etc., are used as the erasing heating means 1, 2. Accordingly, the recording medium is heated uniformly, thus allowing equal erasing. |
