摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the cushoning, whiteness, appearance, and image concentration of a medium for thermal transcription printing using light, etc., for a heating means by laminating in sequence a dye receiving layer, a plastic layer having a white coating layer, an intermediate layer of foamed polyolefine with a given density, and a layer of an organic material with a density larger than that of the intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 7 is composed of a dye receiving layer 8 on the top, a plastic layer 2 having a white coating layer 2-1 prepared from polyacrylate resin mixed with barium sulfate, etc., an intermediate layer 3 of foamed polyolefine with a density of 0.5-0.8 such as foamed polypropylene, a layer 4 of an organic material with a density larger than that of the intermediate layer such as polyethylene, arranged in this order, and adhesive layers 5, 6 which are placed on both sides of the layer 4. The white coating layer 2-1 has a thickness of 0.2-20mum and a whiteness of 90% or more. The plastic layer 2 has a thickness of 25-75mum and is made of polyethylene, etc.
