PURPOSE:To inexpensively produce the recycled cylinder and recycled electrophotographic sensitive drum from the electrophotographic sensitive drum, the normal function of the photosensitive film of which is lost by the flaws, etc., generated by the termination of the life after use or during production. CONSTITUTION:After the photosensitive drum 1X to be recycled is inserted into a rubber mold 14, a metallic mold 13 is lowered in an arrow direction to press its flange part 13a and a rubber mold supporting part 14a. Both are clamped and integrated by a clamp 15. Pressurizing fluid is then supplied into the rubber mold 14 to bulge the rubber mold 14, by which the diameter of the photosensitive drum 1X to be recycled is expanded to the shape of the cavity surface of the metallic mold 13. The surface of the cylinder inclusive of the photosensitive film of the diametrally expanded photosensitive drum to be recycled is thereafter cut off and is finished to prescribed accuracy, by which the recycled cylinder is obtd. |
