PURPOSE:To keep heating speed constant and to prevent irregularities in an image caused by the change of the heating speed by providing another driving roller which is brought into tight contact with a pressure member driving a film. CONSTITUTION:A linear low-heat-capacity heating body 12 supported and disposed below the inner part of the endless belt-like fixing film 9 interposes the film 9 with a pressure roller 17 being the pressure member and made of silicone rubber etc., excellent in releasing property, and is oppositly faced in pressurized contact with the film with abutting pressure by an energizing means. The driving roller 18 is supported by a bearing, and the bearing is pressurized by a spring,etc., then the roller 18 abuts on the roller 17 with the abutting pressure. The roller 18 is driven to be rotated at fixed angular speed by a driving motor through a gear 19, and the roller 17 is rotated at the same tangential velocity as the roller 18 without slipping on an abutting surface, whereby the film 9 interposed between the roller 17 and the heating body 12 is rotated at the same velocity. |
