PURPOSE:To provide the automatic stringed instrument that automatically provides a characteristic performance in a stringed instrument and can not be realized by a conventional automatic stringed instrument although the constitution is small in size. CONSTITUTION:A series of pieces of string muting information among pieces of automatic performance information which are generated in order are read out of a performance information storage part and a sequence data storage part, an actuator for automatic muting is driven in order according to the read pieces of string muting information, and this actuator for automatic muting drives a damping part 101, so a tensed string 3 is damped by this damping part 101. Consequently, a string sound which is currently generated can automatically be muted. |
