A base, two legs and lateral faces are cut from a cardboard sheet, and permanently assembled by gluing or thermo-welding. The lateral faces are folded and permanently fixed to an outside edge, with a lower edge providing an engagement sector for one lateral face between the edges of an adjacent lateral face. Indentations (2c,2d,3c,3d) are cut in the in the middle width of the legs so that they can interengage to form a carrying handle. The legs have enlarged parts (2e,3e,2f,3f) which are separated by pulling. The four lateral faces are assembled by pulling on a flexible connection (14). USE - Making a cardboard container which can be unfolded flat.
