PURPOSE:To effectively use a battery by interrupting power supply from a battery when a voltage of a battery is lower than a 1st power saving reference voltage at the time of moving picture recording and interrupting power supply from the battery when the voltage of the battery is lower than a 2nd power saving reference voltage different from the 1st power saving reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:When a battery voltage detected by a residual power detection circuit 2 is less than a 1st power saving reference voltage in the moving picture recording mode, a control circuit 3 is used to allow a display device 4 to display power saving and the power supply from the battery 1 to an audio circuit 5, an AF drive circuit 6, a recorder section 7 and a camera section 8 is interrupted. Moreover, in the still picture recording mode, when a battery voltage detected by the residual power detection circuit 2 is less than a 2nd power saving reference voltage different from the 1st power saving reference voltage, the control circuit 3 is used to allow the display device 4 to display power saving and the power supply from the battery 1 to the audio circuit 5, the AF drive circuit 6, the recorder section 7 and the camera section 8 is interrupted. |
