METHOD FOR DISPLAYING OF DATA FIELD OF MULTIENTRY ON VIDEO DISPLAY OF COMPUTER IN OBJECT-ORIENTED SOFTWARE PRPGRAM

PURPOSE: To provide a method for displaying an entry field of data having multi-value in an object-oriented software program. CONSTITUTION: A pop-up panel or a window serving as a user interface component which is similar to a drop-down list box is displayed 10, and a data field 12 or' all instances of data elements are listed. A user can change and delete the data elements by selecting an appropriate function key and also can add new data elements. The user keeps the context of a basic object while working in a multientry data field 14. Furthermore, the basic object never changes, even if other data elements are added to the list of the field 14.
