<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damaging the patterns or circuitry parts on a circuit board when IC is to be removed from IC socket and enhance the durability and electric characteristics of the connector by forming a stopper part in the lower part of the IC insert hole provided in the socket. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a tool such as a driver or forceps is applied to a stoppe part 101 formed in the lower part of the IC insert hole of a socket 100, and the part at which an IC and the tool make contacting is used as the point of acting where the place of application serves as fulcrum. When the tool is lifted as drawing an arc upward, the IC is set off from the socket 100. Even though an ordinary driver or forceps are used as the tool when the IC is to be removed from the socket 100, the patterns or circuitry parts on the circuit board are free from risk of being damaged. Also the connector for cable connections is free from bend or twist to lead to enhancement of the durability and elimination of risk of poor contacting Performance. Thus the electric characteristics are stabilized.</p> |
