<p>PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of tracking at a level of a pilot signal having large amplitude by recording/reproducing the pilot signal in a track of a recording medium and making a bit line itself as the pilot signal using the prescribed code words. CONSTITUTION:Code words of disparity of each bit of a run pattern 0 generation circuit 1, a sync word 0 generation circuit 3, and an ID word 0 generation circuit 7 are generated at +7. (or code words of each bit of 1 in each generation circuit are generated at -7). Also, sync blocks of divided numbers of the prescribed region bit are generated in a block number generation circuit 5. A block number outputted from the circuit 5 is precoded by a precoder 6. A period generating circuit 9 outputs signals which are inverted every bit numbers corresponding to frequency of a pilot signal. And data is recorded so that cumulative value increase and decrease period of disparity equals to a period of the pilot signal. Therefore, a system of narrow track width can be realized even if a pilot signal level is made high.</p> |
