Appts. for maintaining food, chemical or biochemical samples at desired temp. comprises an isothermal container(1) with intermediate partitions(2) of differing thickness and cold cells(3) placed on either side of three compartments(4) thus maintaining samples at three different temps. Pref., internal partitions are wood or plastic to which foam panels are glued. The foam is polyurethane or polystyrene of low thermal conductivity. The thickness of the partitions increases with distance from the cold cells at each end and decreases at the central cold cell. The partitions are held in place via grooves cut in the insulating foam of the lateral walls of the container. Samples are held in position by clips. Compartments are opened via recessed hinge. The cold cell temp. is 0 deg.C. Container is made from wood or plastic. USE/ADVANTAGE - Transport of samples. Transport of fresh food products at consumption temp.
