<p>A headrest of the type comprising a body of expanded plastic material 2 having at least one central opening 3 and provided with a lining fabric 7 and a metal reinforcement 4, is obtained by arranging the lining fabric 7 with two juxtaposed edges 14 stitched together along the perimeter of the central opening 3 and projecting inside said opening 3. The metal reinforcement is arranged in the lining fabric 7 by inserting its two mounting legs 6 through holes 11, 12 provided in the fabric and placing its ring 5 in contact with the outer surface of the fabric 7 which delimits the central opening 3, against the aforesaid stitched edges 14 that have been previously folded, so as to hide them from view. After this operation, a foam of plastic material is injected inside the flaccid tube of fabric so as to produce the body of the headrest in its final configuration. <IMAGE></p> |
