<p>The mixing of concrete in truck mixers filled by metering installations is done in an improved manner - with advantages in terms of quality and as regards environmental impact - by employing a process in which cement and water, introduced continuously, are first mixed to form a cement mix; secondly, the inerts and the said cement mix are introduced into a truck mixer followed by the residual measured amount of water; and thirdly all of the said components are mixed together inside the truck mixer. To carry out the said process an apparatus is used that basically comprises a cement pump, a cement feed screw, means for supplying and metering the water, means for mixing the said cement with the said water and forming a cement mix, means for feeding a truck mixer with the inerts and means for introducing said mix into the said truck mixer, followed by the residual measured amount of water, after or with the said inert.</p> |
