摘要 PURPOSE:To improve acceleration responsiveness at the time kickdown by calculating an increment rate of a primary pulley rotational speed after starting kickdown, and also calculating predicted rotational speed of the primary pulley at the time of temporarily fixing the variable speed thereafter so as to attain a target speed change rate. CONSTITUTION:In a device which controls an engine 60 by an ECU 3 and makes this control controls by a continuously variable transmission 20CVT-ECU 21 on a power transmission system P connected to the engine 60, kickdown is judged based on acceleration information by an acceleration opening sensor 13 at the time of control by the CVT-ECU 21. When kickdown is judged, an increment rate of primary pulley rotational speed in a range of a specified calculation process time after the shart of kickdown is calculated, and predicted rotational speed of a primary pulley 26 at the time of temporarily fixing speed change thereafter is caluculated based on the pulley rotational increment rate. The target variable speed change ratio is calculated with the predicted rotational speed set as the traget primary pulley rotational speed, and then speed change control valves 23, 54 are controlled.
