PURPOSE: To provide a composition comprising an intimate mixture of a crystalline polymer with a non-reactive solvent for the crystalline polymer. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a coating film on a surface of a supporting body comprises coating the surface with a layer of a composition containing a polymer phase, comprising a crystalline polymer, selected from polyester, polyamide and polycarbonate, and a non-cross-linking solvent for the crystalline polymer intimately mixed therewith, and subsequently heating the coated layer at a temperature at least high enough for forming the coating film.
