PURPOSE:To produce the subject slit yarn capable of dyeing up to a deep color region by forming a deposited metal layer on one side of a polyamide-based film having a specified thickness, bonding a pair of the films to each other through an adhesive layer in a state where each deposited metal layer is directed toward the inside and slitting the laminated film. CONSTITUTION:A deposited metal layer is formed on one side of a polyamide- based film having 6 to 12mum thickness. A pair of the resultant metallized film are bonded to each other through an adhesive layer in a state where each deposited metal layer is directed toward the inside and the obtained laminated film is slit. The resultant slit yarn can be blended with other fiber yarns without reducing the softness or the flexible touch.
