PRODUCTION OF RESIN MOLDED ITEM

PURPOSE:To eliminate defective filling or poor adhesion of a coating material caused by a variation in curing characteristics of a molding resin or molding conditions. CONSTITUTION:A space 3 is formed between a first mold 1 and a second mold 2 which can move to/from the first mold 1. A molding resin 4a is compression molded into a resin molded body 4 in this space 3. After that, a coating material 5a is injected onto the surface of the resin molded body 4. A coating layer 5 is provided by again conducting compression molding. In this molding method, an ion viscosity sensor 6 for detecting the curing degree of the resin molded body 4 is provided on the first mold 1 or the second mold 2. The coating material 5a is injected when the ion viscosity sensor 6 detects a predetermined ion viscosity value after detecting a bottom value in the process of compression molding the molding resin 4a into the resin molded body 4.
