<p>PURPOSE:To improve the yield of the centrifuged constituent by providing a pressing means pressing a blood bag in a centrifugal auxiliary cup storing the blood bag and fittable/removable to a centrifugal separator. CONSTITUTION:After centrifugation, a centrifugal auxiliary cup 40 is removed from a centrifugal separator and fixed to a stand with a blood bag 1 kept stored. No disturbance occurs on the boundary faces between layers of three separated constituents due to vibration or the deformation of the bag 1. After a connecting member 15 is ruptured and a connector 54 is connected, an air feed source 55 is operated, and air is fed into a bag body 50 via air feed tubes 53, 52 to expand the bag body 50. The bag 1 is pressed by the expansion of the bag body 50, its internal pressure is increased, and an upper blood plasma layer is shifted into a blood plasma bag from a discharge port via a tube 14. The bag 1 is kept at the expanded state while the blood plasma is discharged, and the constituents of the lower layers are prevented from being discharged, shifted, and mixed into blood plasma. The yield of blood plasma is improved.</p> |
