ANTISTATIC ULTRAVIOLET CURING RESIN COMPOSITION AND OPTICAL DISC COATED WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE:To obtain an ultraviolet curing resin composition providing a coating film excellent in antistatic properties and hardness free from reduction in antistatic performances at high temperature at high humidity, comprising a specific polymerizable acidic phosphoric ester, an alkali metal salt of the ester and an active ethylene-containing compound. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises (A) a polymerizable acidic phosphoric ester of formula I (R<1> and R<2> are H or methyl; m is 1-8; n is 1 or 2) (e.g. ethylene oxide-modified phosphate acrylate), (B) an alkali metal salt of the polymerizable acidic phosphoric ester of formula II (M is alkali metal) and (C) an organic compound containing two or more ultraviolet-curing active ethylene groups (e.g. ethylene glycol). The composition comprises preferably 30-60wt.% component A and 1-15wt.% component B. The composition is preferably mixed with a compound containing both an ultraviolet functional group and a tertiary amine group such as N, N-diethylaminoethyl acrylate in order to prevent whitening of the surface of cured film.
