PURPOSE:To simplify the card management of a card user by informing an external apparatus about execution permission of a work using its card, when it is decided that the card is valid from an ID code (identification code). CONSTITUTION:When a customer 3 having a radio type card 4 is detected by a customer sensor of a card reader/writer 7 of an ATM (automatic savings payment/deposit) terminal 2 of a financial agency, request command data of an ID code is transmitted by radio from this card reader/writer 7, and this request command data is received by a radio receiving part of the radio type card 4 which the customer 3 has. As a result, the ID code for the ATM terminal 2 set in advance to a RAM of the radio type card 4, that is, data for discriminating an account number of the customer 3 is transmitted by radio to the card reader/writer 7 from this card 4. Subsequently, in the card reader/writer 7, validity of the card 4 is decided from the received ID code, and when it is decided to be valid, execution permission of a work using the card is commanded to the ATM terminal 2. |
