PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous thermal melting transcribe and fixing of a multiplex toner image onto a recording medium with small energy while holding high recording speed by slowing down the speed of an intermediate transcribing rotor below the other process speed during transcribing/fixing processes. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of a rotor 2 is controlled so that the surface speed of the intermediate transcribing rotor 2 at meltingly transcribing a multiplex toner image from the rotor 2 to a transfer paper 26 is slower than the surface speed at transcribing a toner image from a photosensitive body 1 to the rotor 2. Consequently, the passing time of the multiplex toner image through the contact part between the rotor 2 and the transfer paper 26 can be prolonged. Hereby, heat of the toner in melted condition on the rotor 2 is removed by the transfer paper 26 at meltingly transcribing the multiplex toner image onto the transfer paper 26, so as to prevent a trouble of quick solidification of the toner on the transfer paper 26. Namely, it is unnecessary to heat the rotor 2 and a pressing roller 21 up to so high temperature by heaters 19, 25. |
