PURPOSE:To provide an engine starter for a small pleasure boat, allowing a crew to operate a recoil starter for starting an engine with a posture holding a bar handle, while looking fore from the front section of a seat, and enabling forward visual field to be maintained at all times, and reaction to be made even to emergency steering. CONSTITUTION:In a small pleasure boat where a crew sits astride an elevated and longitudinally long seat 2, constitution is so made that the rope 15 of a recoil starter for the engine of an outboard engine body 4 at the aft side of the boat is extended to the fore lower side of the seat 2, and the end of the rope 15 is connected to the arm 16 of a kick lever 11 laid under the seat 2 at the side thereof. |
