PURPOSE:To speed up the image processing by devising an address generating method and effectively utilizing a high-speed memory function without depending upon only the generating method for laterally successive addresses when a window processing for cutting optional pixels from image data is performed. CONSTITUTION:This processor and method are equipped with a 1st storage means 11 which stores image data DIN, a 2nd storage means 12 which stores data din regarding to be processed in the image data DIN, a subordinate control means 13 which controls the input and output of the 2nd storage means 12, an address converting means 14 which converts addresses ADD for reading out the data din to be processed, and a control means 15 which controls the input and output of the 1st and 2nd storage means 11 and 12, subordiante control means 13, and address converting means 14. The control means 15 controls the conversion of the addresses ADD according to external control data DP. |
