The data display projects information onto the windscreen in the driver's field of vision. The data is projected from a projector (4) mounted on the roof of the vehicle or high on the windscreen, and is directed to a mixer (1) fitted in the top surface of the dashboard (2). The mixer is fixed to a plate (5) that can pivot round a horizontal axis, allowing the mixer to be tilted between the raised operating position and the lowered position when it is out of service and is retracted flux with the top of the dashboard. ADVANTAGE - Simple retraction of secondary information display providing dashboard with smooth top surface when retracted.
