PURPOSE:To realize a method of fixing a large number of terminal pins in a short time by a method wherein lead frames are arranged in parallel and formed into a terminal pin group of integral structure, and the terminal pin group is placed on a plate member and worked. CONSTITUTION:A working terminal pin group 30 are made to move along a lengthwise direction, lead frames 31 are successively placed on a base 21 of a fixing device 20 starting from their tips and stopped when the front ends of first connecting members 32 bear against the rears of three protrudent steps 21a fitted between the lead frames 31. A plate member 22 is made to descend, the three protrudent steps 21a are fitted to the recesses 22a of the plate member 22, and the underside of the plate member 22 presses down the lead frames 31 from above. Therefore, the engaging rod 22b of the plate member 22 is closely fitted into the engaging hole 32a bored in the connection member 32, a cutter 23 is moved downward to cut off the lead frames 31, and a press 24 is made to descend synchronously with the cutter 23 to bend the tips of four terminal pins, whereby a large number of terminal pins cam be fixed in a short time. |
