PURPOSE:To improve heat input density, safety, and reliability of a heat accumulation type combustion device. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulation type combustion device comprises two air flow passages 3a and 3b through which the feed of air for combustion and discharge of combustion exhaust gas are alternately carried out, a fuel injection nozzle 9 arranged in the middle between the air flow passages 3a and 3b, a burner 1 having a central air flow passage 7, coupling pipes 5a and 5b connected to the two air flow passages 3a and 3b, respectively, and breathable heat accumulating bodies 4a and 4b contained in the coupling pipes 5a and 5b, respectively. The feed of air for combustion and discharge of combustion exhaust gas are simultaneously executed through the two air flow passages 3a and 3b as fuel is continuously fed through the fuel injection nozzle 9. |
