<p>A stator winding structure according to the present invention includes a slot liner (12) having a high heat conductivity and inserted between exciting windings (18) held in a slot (8) formed in a stator core (6), and a wedge (14) for packing the exciting windings (18) densely. The slot liner (12) having a high heat conductivity promotes the heat transfer between the exciting windings (18) and the stator core (6), and the wedge (14) serves to sufficiently pack the exciting windings (18) and promotes cooling of the exciting windings (18).</p> |
