A konjak-containing composition comprises chips of pulverized konjak; being dehydrated to a water content of 10-60% by weight of the non-dehydrated product. The chips have length less than 50mm and width less than 3mm. The chips have use as ingredients in the preparation of dietary foodstuffs.
