In the switch housing, a map switch spring element (1)-which can be brought into two functional positions- has two associated fixed contact sections. The snap switch spring element is brought into both functional positions by a movable operating member on the housing. One of the partic. spring effects counteracting the snap switch spring element matches the spring force of the element. In the first functional position there is a slightly lower spring force and in the second functional position there is a slightly higher spring force than the compensating spring (6). ADVANTAGE - Two resting functional positions are realised for snap switch spring element without requiring additional mechanical resting elements.
