<p>Thermoplastic resin composition comprising the following components A and B is provided in which the compatibility of the resin components is improved, to achieve a thermoplastic resin having excellent molding property and mechanical strength:
<UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none"><ListItem>(A) 90 to 10 wt% of a polyolefin resin derived from isotactic polypropylene or high-density polyethylene and containing a substituted silyl group represented by the general formula:
-SiR<Sub>n</Sub>Y<Sub>3-n</Sub>
wherein R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group; Y is a hydrolyzable group or a hydroxyl group; and n represents 0, 1 or 2; and</ListItem><ListItem>(B) 10 to 90 wt% of saturated polyester resin.</ListItem></UnorderedLists></p>
