PURPOSE: To remove defects of a traditional method of operating a gas turbine group, to increase economy and to minimize discharge of harmful materials. CONSTITUTION: When a gas turbine group 34 is operated with or without a steam circuit 20 or an air reservoir installation 33, a series connection with the same air mass flow 16, 17 is used for cooling one or more structures 15, 18, 19 which are in effective connection with the mass flow of the gas turbine group 34.
