1,221,583. Endless conveyers. FR. WINKLER K.G. SPEZIALFABRIK FUR BACKEREIMASCHINEN UND BACKOFEN. 27 May, 1968 [9 Feb., 1968], No. 25340/68. Heading B8A. Unbaked dough pieces are transferred from trays on a roller conveyer 34 to temporarily stationary carriers 10 of an oven conveyer by an endless conveyer belt 3 mounted on a carriage 2 to move the belt between the respective conveyers. A belt tongue at one end of the conveyer 3 picks up dough pieces from the trays as the conveyer moves in the direction e and the carriage moves in the direction c, and a belt tongue at the other end of the conveyer 3 delivers dough pieces to the carriers as the conveyer moves in the direction e and the carriage in the direction c and also picks-up baked dough pieces from the carriers when the conveyer moves in the direction d and the carriage moves in the direction b. The baked dough pieces are delivered, at a position intermediate the conveyers, to a shoot 39 feeding an endless conveyer 36. If it is desired to turn over the dough pieces on delivery to the carriers 40, the carriage 2 on its movement towards the carriers engages a ramp 19 and rails 17 to raise the conveyer 3 above the carriers (position 3<SP>111</SP>) so that the dough piece turn over as they are discharged. An auxiliary conveyer 13 positioned above said one end of the conveyer 3 assists in the pick-up of the dough pieces. Synchronization of the movements of the carriage 2 and the conveyer 3 with the oven conveyer is achieved by including in the control circuits therefore switches operated by cams 31, 43 driven respectively by the drive motor 30 for the carriage and the oven conveyer. A drive motor 10 for the conveyer 3 is mounted on the carriage 2. In a modification the said other end of the conveyer 3 has a pusher 44 such that when the carriage is withdrawn to the position 3<SP>11</SP> the trays loaded with unbaked dough pieces may be pushed from the conveyer 34 to the carriers 40. |
