摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the Cu alloy electrode which improves deposition resistance and enhances the efficiency of welding operations by incorporating S as an alloy element at a ratio in a specific range into the electrode and consisting the balance of Cu. CONSTITUTION:The Cu alloy electrodes 3 to 5 for resistance welding contain the S as the alloy element at 0.01wt.% S 0.1wt.% and consists of the balance Cu. For example, the region of the number of the continuous dotting is expanded as compared with an OFCu electrode 1 and other Cu alloy electrodes 2, 6, 7 by using the Cu alloy electrodes 3 to 5 having 0.01wt.%<=S<=0.1wt.% S content when spot welding is executed by using Al alloy sheets having 1.2mm as the planar Al materials to be welded. Such expansion occurs in the effect of suppressing the reaction by the S deposits, etc. Then, the deposition of the Cu alloy electrodes 3 to 5 is prevented.
