PURPOSE: To provide a wood antiseptic which penetrates deep into a wood and dries in a short time by adding a respectively specific rate of a bactericide or a bactericide mixture which are dissolved in an organic chemical solvent or an organic chemical solvent mixture, a solvent mixture or an alkyd resin, and a specific reaction product to a concentrate or an agent. CONSTITUTION: A water-diluent concentrate or agent containing no emulsifier as an antiseptic for a wood and a wood material, is composed of a plurality of specific components (a)-(d). That is, (a) 0-15 pts.wt. organic chemical solvent or an organic chemical solvent mixture, (b) 0.2-20 pts.wt. insecticide or insecticide mixture which is dissolved in the organic chemical solvent or the organic chemical solvent mixture or in an alkyd resin, (c) 0.02-4.0 wt.% insecticide or insecticide mixture which is dissolved in the organic chemical solvent or the organic chemical solvent mixture or the alkyd resin, (d) 10-95 pts.wt. reaction product composed of a specific water-soluble alkyd resin, a specific chemical compound, a specific polyalcohol and a specific unsaturated carbonyl chemical compound, and additionally an organic dye, an organic or an inorganic pigment and a dry substance.
