A probe assembly (10) for inspection and/or repair of heat exchanger tubing is provided by a sensor (14) deployed by an elongate flexible sensor support cable (18) and a plurality of bushings (28) forming a flexible coaxial sheath about the sensor support cable. Bushing retainers (32) are secured to the sensor support member to retain spacing between the bushings during forceful deployment and retraction of the assembly.
