PURPOSE:To improve the function of a word processor by providing a function strengthened part between a keyboard and the word processor main body. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1 is connected to a word processor 2 via a signal line 3, and a function strengthened part 10 is provided between the keyboard 1 and the processor 2 to strengthen the function of the processor 2. The line 3 is partly connected to the part 10. Then, the part 10 switches the data given from the keyboard 1 to the data received from a ROM or a RAM to transmit the data to the processor 2 when a composed character code is coincident with a specific code. Furthermore, the part 10 sets an address register of the ROM or the RAM and performs the read/write control to edit the ROM or RAM data also when the composed character code is coincident with a specific code. |
