<p>PURPOSE:To sense the deterioration of insulation of a coil due to the intrusion of moisture into a motor by installing a monitor to a motor coil and connecting a warning device to the monitor. CONSTITUTION:A cooling system comprising a condenser 2, an evaporator 3, and a tube system 4 is connected to a hermetically enclosed motor 1 comprising a rotor 1a, a stator 1b, and a conductor 5b is installed to the coil 1c. When moisture intrudes into the coil 1c, the resistance of the insulator 5a of the monitor varies, and the variation of the resistance is measured by an indicator 8, and the operation of the motor is stopped.</p> |
