PURPOSE:To manufacture a VVF where a sheath can be easily peeled off by partly forming incomplete fused surfaces in the extending line direction of the peripheral surface of the sheath in covering insulated conductors with the sheath, when the insulated conductors manufactured by covering the conductors with a vinyl insulator are arranged. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 2 is covered with a vinyl insulator 3 (made of polyvinyl chloride or the like), thus forming an insulated conductor 4. Two of the insulated conductors 4 are arranged to be covered together with a sheath 5, thereby obtaining a VVF 1 (of 600V vinyl insulated vinyl sheath cable flat type). In covering the insulated conductors 4 with the sheath 5, a molten resin used as the sheath 5 for covering is partly separated, followed by bonding again, so that one or two or more incomplete fused surfaces 6 are formed in the extending direction of the inner circumferential surface or outer peripheral surface of the sheath 5. When the sheath 5 is pulled to be split while the insulated conductors 4 are grasped by hand at the time of processing the terminal of the VVF 1, the sheath 5 can be easily split in a portion of the incomplete fused surfaces 6. Consequently, the insulated conductors 4 can be taken out with ease. |
