PURPOSE:To avoid the frequent replenishment of toner caused by the difference of toner consumption classified by colors and to keep a toner replenishing cycle equal to or above a fixed cycle in an electrophotographic image forming device using the toner of plural colors. CONSTITUTION:Toner cases 11-14 are provided with sensors 31-34 arranged at a position for detecting a state where the toner is equal to or less than half, and sensors 21-24 arranged at a position for detecting a state where the toner is nearly depleted. A display means 4 displays the remaining quantity of the toner in each toner case by two steps according to the detection signal of the sensors 21-24, and the sensors 31-34. Thus, in the case that any one of toner cases 11-14 is nearly empty, an operator replenishes the toner case with the toner also for another toner case where the remaining quantity of the toner is equal to or less than half, thereby avoiding the frequent replenishment of toner. |
