The open or closed single track vehicle (e.g. a motor cycle) incorporates protective wheel covers (1,2) and/or stable impact absorbers. The sides of the vehicle are protected by flank sections (3) or side doors or segments. Side support rollers (18) or support wheels are mounted on a relatively long, downwardly sloping spring-loaded arm (19). The arm is secured to the vehicle by a rear joint and moved by a position adjuster (20). USE/ADVANTAGE - Outrigger system offers a degree of protection hitherto not available to drivers of two wheel vehicles.
