TAKE-UP DEVICE FOR OPTICAL FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the take-up device for optical fibers which enables the automatic and efficient production of a coil for an optical fiber gyro. CONSTITUTION:This take-up device for the optical fibers 1 lets off the optical fibers 1 alternately from two let-off bobbins 2, 3 wound separately with one piece of the optical fiber 1 from both end sides and intersectingly winds the let-off optical fibers 1 alternately on a take-up bobbin 4 while traversing the optical fibers 1 alternately in opposite directions. The take-up unit has two let-off side devices for letting off the optical fibers 1 and the take-up device which takes up the optical fibers 1. The two let-off side devices can select alternately whether these devices are rotated or not rotated simultaneously with the take-up device. In addition, the two let-off bobbins 2, 3 are mountable thereto and the two bobbins 2, 3 are exchangeable.
