AIR BAG INFLATOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To omit a holing process in an air bag, simplify coupling and rationalize processes in a structure for coupling an air bag opening with an inflator. CONSTITUTION:An inflator 1 is provided on the peripheral wall surface with a step or groove. An air bag opening cloth 4a covers the inflator 1 from the opening 4 to the step or groove. While a partially notched ring member 5 having a diameter to be fitted to the step or groove is fitted from the outside, leaving a part of distal end cloth, the left distal end cloth is folded back outward to overlap the opening cloth 4a. A ring 7 with a stopper opposed to the ring member 5 is fitted from the outside so that the opening cloth 4a is pinched by the ring member 5 and the ring 7 with the stopper.
