PURPOSE:To provide a preservable food containing a medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride and spices, capable of effectively preventing the deterioration of taste and flavor in preservation, having high absorption efficiency through the intestine and high metabolic speed and exhibiting physical strength developing action, cholesterol level suppressing action, etc. CONSTITUTION:A preservable food such as Chinese noodle soup preservable without deteriorating the taste and flavor is produced by mixing 0.01 pts.wt. of curry powder as a spicy component containing plural kinds of spices to 0.5 pts.wt. of soy sauce, 2.0 pts.wt. of chicken extract, 1.0 pt.wt. of pork extract, 1.3 pts.wt. of salt and 3.9 pts.wt. of water, stirring the mixture at 50 deg.C for 5min to obtain a seasoning liquid, compounding 8.71g of the seasoning liquid with 1.5g of an oil obtained by mixing 1.0 pt.wt. of a medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride (e.g. caprylic acid triglyceride) and 0.5 pts.wt. of a vegetable seasoning oil at 50 deg.C for 5min and sealing the obtained mixture in a small pouch made of vinylidene-coated nylon/polyethylene film. |
