PURPOSE:To control time width of a RATE signal, to make the time for constituting an ultrasonic image constant and to shorten the time by providing a RATE controller for varying an interval of a blanking part of the RATE signal being a fundamental signal for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic diagnostic system is constituted of a probe discriminating means, an ultrasonic probe 2 and a main body 1 having a transmitting system 3, a receiving system 4, a RATE controller 5, a processing system 6, a display system 7, and a CPU. In such a state, the RATE controller 5 varies a count value of a fundamental clock, based on a classification signal of the ultrasonic probe obtained from the probe discriminating means, and sets an interval of a blanking part of a RATE signal. In such a way, the interval of the blanking can be changed different from the case of a conventional device in which the interval of the blanking part is constant even if the kind of the ultrasonic probe is different, therefore, deterioration of a frame rate is mitigated or improved. Accordingly, the time for constituting an image is shortened, compared with a conventional device. |
